All the details of Falkirk district’s festive countdown of events for all the family

The countdown to Christmas is underway and there’s a lot going on, so we’ve put together a handy list of local events for you to enjoy.

Cameron: The Forth Valley Sensory Center will be holding a winter fair on Friday, November 17th from 11am to 2pm. There will be a variety of stalls from local businesses including Peaches Crafts, Charlie Bears and Self-Calming Charms. FVSC will also have a variety of stalls at the event, from regular tombolas to brand new dog stalls and clothing racks.

Polmont: St Margaret’s School Parent Council will be holding a Christmas Fair at the school (Salmon Inn Road) on Saturday 25th November from 11am to 2pm. A variety of gift stalls will offer the opportunity to do some Christmas shopping, while children will have fun with games, face painting, craft activities, Santa’s grotto and more. We will provide light snacks. Entry fees at the door are £1 per adult and 50p per child.

Larbert: Larbert East Church will be hosting a Christmas Coffee Morning with stalls on Saturday 25th November from 10am to 1pm. Tickets are available now from the Tea Lady for £3.50.

Stenhousemuir: The annual Winter Fair will be held at Stenhouse & Carron Church on Saturday 2nd December from 1pm to 3pm. There will also be regular stalls, including the popular silent auction. Entry is £1 on the day, children are free.

Falkirk: A Christmas adventure will be held at Calendar House from December 1st to 24th. It seems that the elves have moved into this house as we are busy preparing for Christmas. Join a magical interactive adventure where a chef elf needs your help in the kitchen to prepare for his big day. Enjoy a 40-minute festive show. Work with the elves to make sure everything is ready for Santa’s arrival. Santa is on his way. Falkirk: Santa will be hosting a festive breakfast in Falkirk town centre. He will be at Icon’s Sports Bar and Grill from 10 a.m. to noon on Dec. 3, 9 and 17. The four Ku Winds will then host the red-clad big men on Dec. 10 at 10 a.m. and noon. And on Dec. 24, he will visit the Courtyard from 10 a.m. to 11:30 a.m. before making stops around the world.
